Description
Remote infrared forehead thermometer. Class IIa medical device.
General characteristics :

How to use
Information before use
- Cleaning and storage:
Please make sure the sensor is clean to ensure accurate measurements.
The sensor is the most delicate part of the thermometer. Be careful when cleaning the sensor to avoid damage.
a. Use alcohol swabs or cotton swabs moistened with 70% to 75% alcohol to clean the sensor.
b. Allow the sensor to dry for at least 1 minute.
c. Keep the product dry and away from liquids or direct sunlight.
d. Storage temperature: it should be stored under the following conditions -20÷+50°C, RH≤85%.
e. The sensor must not be immersed in liquids.
Holding the thermometer in your hand for too long may cause the room temperature to be higher than the actual temperature.
This may make the body temperature measurement appear lower than it actually is.
- Replacing the batteries:
When the battery icon shows that the battery power is low, the batteries should be immediately replaced with two AAA batteries.
1. Open the battery cover: Use your thumb to push out the battery compartment cover.
2. Insert the two AAA batteries.
3. Replace the battery compartment cover.
Body temperature measurement
Press the "ON/MEM" button to turn on the device. The default mode is the forehead mode. The icon appears on the display and two beeps are emitted. In this mode, the thermometer should be held at a distance of 4 cm from the center of the forehead and press the "START" button to obtain the forehead measurement. The measurement time is 1 second. After each forehead measurement, wait for the icon to stop flashing before the next measurement.
Points of attention:
a) The forehead temperature is displayed in oral mode, i.e. the forehead temperature is converted and its "oral equivalent" value is displayed.
b) Before measurement, the subject should remain in the same environment for 5 minutes and avoid physical exercise and bathing in the preceding 30 minutes.
c) The forehead area must be clean and free of sweat, cosmetics and scars when taking temperature measurements.

Cleaning and disinfection
For home disinfection of the appliance, use 70% concentrated alcohol (ethanol or isopropyl alcohol), available in pharmacies.
Clean the measurement sensor after each use. Use a clean cloth or a cotton swab soaked in 70% concentrated alcohol.
To clean the entire appliance, use a soft cloth slightly moistened with a mild soapy solution. Avoid getting liquids inside the appliance. Do not use it again until it is completely dry.
