Description
Class IIa medical device.
GSE INTIMO LUBRIFICANTE is a vaginal gel useful in the prevention and treatment of vaginal dryness of various origins and natures and in the natural healing process of microlesions of the vaginal mucosa.
Thanks to the polysaccharides of aloe vera gel and calendula combined with hydroxyethylcellulose, it acts as a barrier generating a protective film on the vaginal mucosa.
GSE INTIMO LUBRIFICANTE maintains a correct level of hydration in the tissues and provides immediate relief thanks to a soothing and lubricating action. In addition, all the extracts present in the formulation promote the natural process of tissue repair.
Thanks to the presence of lactic acid, it contributes to the maintenance and stabilization of the physiological pH, promoting the well-being of the vaginal environment.
Without perfumes and without colorants.
How to use
Check the integrity of the packaging, tubes and cannulas.
Clean your hands before handling the product. Screw the cannula onto the tube. Apply light pressure to the tube to fill the cannula, maintaining an inclined position to avoid the formation of air bubbles. To avoid sucking the product into the tube, maintain the pressure applied and unscrew the applicator. Expel a small amount of gel from the applicator before use, so that the tip of the cannula is lubricated.
Insert the filled applicator into the vagina, assuming a bent position with your knees bent. Push the plunger until all the gel has been expelled and remove the applicator from the vagina.
Throw away the cannula just used because it is disposable and must not be reused. Store the tube and the remaining cannulas tightly closed, in a cool and dry place.
The frequency with which the product should be used depends on the degree of dryness of the vaginal mucosa. 1 or 2 applications per day are recommended, unless otherwise prescribed.
The product can be used during the menstrual cycle.
Components
Main ingredients (13.83%): Aloe vera gel, hydroxyethylcellulose, glycerinated calendula extract, glycerinated grapefruit seed extract, lactic acid.
Other ingredients: potassium sorbate, phenoxyethanol, EDTA, purified water.
Warnings
The product is for specific vaginal use. Do not ingest.
Do not use the product if the tube and/or cannula appear damaged or not perfectly intact when first opened.
Do not use the product after the expiration date indicated on the package. The expiration date refers to the product correctly stored in the unopened package at room temperature.
Wash hands before and after use.
Each cannula is for single use only and should not be reused. If reused, Prodeco Pharma cannot guarantee the performance, functionality or hygiene of the cannula.
Each tube of GSE INTIMO LUBRIFICANTE must be used by only one patient in order to reduce the risk of transmission of infections.
Close the tube with the appropriate cap after use. After use, dispose of the packaging according to applicable national practice.
Compatibility with condoms has not been demonstrated, but the compatibility of water- and glycerol-based intimate lubricants, such as GSE INTIMO LUBRIFICANTE, with condoms made of natural rubber latex, polyurethane and other synthetic materials is widely accepted.
As with many similar products, avoid use before gynecological examinations.
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
The product is not intended for pediatric use.
During pregnancy or suspected pregnancy and in the case of local drug therapies, use the product only with the advice of your doctor.
In case of severe vaginal dryness, if there is no improvement within 30 days of treatment, consult a doctor.
Do not administer to patients with known individual hypersensitivity to the components of the product.
Prolonged use of the product, as with all topical products, may cause sensitization or local irritation. In this case, stop treatment and consult your doctor. As with other products used to treat vaginal dryness, it may cause white and odorless discharge. Currently, there are no known side effects attributable to GSE INTIMO LUBRIFICANTE. If an adverse reaction occurs, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Currently, no interactions with other preparations or treatments are known for the concomitant use of GSE INTIMO LUBRIFICANTE.
Conservation
Store at room temperature, away from sources of light and heat.
Validity with intact packaging: 36 months.
Validity after opening: 6 months.
