Description
Food for special medical purposes free of Phenylalanine indicated in the diet of infants and children affected by documented phenylketonuria (PKU).

How to use
Your doctor will provide instructions for the correct amounts of water, powder, and preparation to use.
For a standard dilution at 85 kcal/100 ml:
- 1 level scoop (14.4 g) for every 60 ml of water. The powder should not be pressed into the scoop and the excess should be removed with a clean, dry knife, using the blunt end. Use the scoop included in the jar to measure the powder. Store the dry scoop in this jar.
- 207 g of powder + 860 ml of water provide 1 litre of preparation.
It is important to follow the instructions given: wash your hands thoroughly before preparation, pour the right amount of water into a suitable container then add the necessary amount of Phenyl-Free 2; mix well until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
Shake well before use.

Warnings
Phenyl-Free 2 must be used under the direct and constant supervision of a doctor.
Phenyl-Free 2 should not be used as the sole source of nutrition.
Phenyl-Free 2 should only be used for the dietary management of children over 3 years of age and adults with documented phenylketonuria (PKU).
Phenyl-Free 2 should not be used by individuals who do not have phenylketonuria (PKU) as it may cause harm to health.
Direct and constant medical supervision and frequent blood tests are recommended.
Phenyl-Free 2 is not a complete food and must be supplemented with other food sources of protein and fluids to provide an adequate intake of phenylalanine to meet the dietary needs of children and adults.
Do not administer parenterally.

Conservation
Use immediately after preparation or cover and store in the refrigerator at 2-4°C for no more than 24 hours.
Store the jar in a cool, dry place.
Close the package tightly after use, store in a dry place and use the contents within one month.
Do not freeze the powder.
Avoid exposure to heat sources.
Best before date from production date, in intact packaging: 24 months.
