Velvety long-lasting effect
DescriptionCream with 30% pure lipostabilized urea. It is a kerato-reducing treatment for dry and scaly skin layers and extensive or localized skin thickening of the foot. Used regularly, it gives the feet a well-groomed, smooth and velvety appearance, helping to make the skin clean, elastic and hydrated. It is not greasy and is quickly absorbed by the skin. Its innovative formula also offers a refreshing and soothing action. Urea is an organic compound that, when used topically, can have, depending on the concentration of use, a hydrating or keratolytic effect. The hydrating effect is obtained using low concentrations and is due to an increase in water binding sites at the level of the stratum corneum and a reduction in trans-epidermal water dispersion. The kerato-reducing and keratolytic effect is obtained at higher concentrations (30-50%) and the mechanism seems to be the alteration, through breaking of hydrogen bonds, of the quaternary structure of the keratins of the stratum corneum. Urea is thus able to denature and disperse keratin and thin the stratum corneum without damaging the skin barrier.
How to use
Apply 1 or 2 times a day, on clean and dry skin. Massage until completely absorbed. Temporary tingling sensations may occur on more sensitive skin.
