Acerola: is a plant that grows in Central America, especially in Brazil. The fruit of this plant is commonly known as "West Indian cherry" or "Barbados cherry". It has segments with a slightly acidic, soft and juicy taste. The fruit is covered by a thin skin and has a large seed inside. The rather sour taste is due to the very high content of ascorbic acid, or vitamin C. Acerola is one of the richest sources of vitamin C in the world.
Vitamin C: in nature, alongside ascorbic acid (defined as vitamin C1), there is always another factor (defined as vitamin C2) that together form the C complex, the true substance with vitamin action. The presence of both factors in acerola improves the utilization and absorption of vitamin C and therefore increases the beneficial effect it provides to our body.
Ingredients
Acerola (Malpighia glabra L.) fruit dry extract titrated at 9.8% in vitamin C; capsule constituents: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose; anti-caking agents: magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide.
