Inadine
ANTISEPTIC DRESSINGIt is particularly indicated for infected wounds, for colonized lesions at risk of infection.
Characteristics:
non-adherent dressing based on iodine-providone, a broad-spectrum bactericidal agent. It is composed of a mesh of rayon-viscose filaments soaked in a 10% povidone-iodine solution. The porous mesh of the dressing allows drainage of exudates and transpiration of the wound, preventing maceration. The quantity of povidone-iodine present in the dressing is sufficient to reduce the bacterial load, but is not irritating to the wound site.
