IRIDIUM MEDICATED EYE GAUZE IN NON-WOVEN FABRIC 20 PIECES IRIDIUM
IRIDIUM gauze
Description
Indicated for the removal of crusts, rheumatism or secretions from the eyelids and eyelashes due to inflammatory and/or infectious phenomena. Its use is also recommended in association with specific therapies in the case of allergic, inflammatory or infectious ocular diseases. IRIDIUM gauze gauze is used for periocular treatment before and after ophthalmic surgery and during treatments for occlusions of the lacrimal canaliculus.
How to use
After having cleaned your hands properly, open the sachet and remove the gauze. Apply the gauze to the eyelid area, gently rubbing it, so as to allow adequate removal of ocular secretions and any other deposits (smog, dust, powders, etc.). In the event of particularly persistent secretions or occlusion of the tear duct, it is advisable to heat the closed sachet for a few minutes in warm water (about 40°C) and then use the gauze as a hot compress, massaging gently. It is also possible to squeeze the contents of the gauze on the closed eye, tilting the head slightly, then massaging with the gauze until all residues are removed. In the case of ogosis, it is advisable to cool the closed sachet in the refrigerator for a few hours and then apply the open gauze to the eye, keeping it in place for a few minutes as a cold compress.
Components
100% cotton gauze soaked in a solution containing: propylene glycol, PPG-26-Buteth-26, PEG-40, hydrogenated castor oil, ammonium glycyrrhizinate, glycolic extract of Ananas sativus L., extract of Echinacea angustifolia (root), sodium bicarbonate E500, chlorhexidine digluconate, sodium hydroxymethylglycinate, disodium EDTA, purified water.
Contraindications
Known hypersensitivity to any component of the product or other closely related chemical substances.
Warnings
- External use.
- The sterility, functionality and safety of the product are guaranteed only by the integrity of the package. Do not use if the package is not intact.
- Gauze is for single use only. Reuse of gauze may cause ophthalmic infection and/or harm to the patient.
- Follow your doctor's instructions carefully.
- In case of infectious conditions, do not use the same gauze for both eyes to avoid cross-contamination.
- Keep out of reach of children.
