Description
Food supplement of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA Plus) from purified fish oil and Quatrefolic (5MTHF-glucosamine), a source of folate.
Each softgel provides 450 mg of DHA and 400 mcg of folate from Quatrefolic.
Maternal intake of DHA contributes to the normal development of the brain and vision of the fetus and breastfed infants. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 200 mg of DHA in addition to the recommended daily intake for omega-3 of 250 mg of DHA and EPA. Folate intake during pregnancy contributes to maternal tissue growth. Folate also contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism.
VitaDHA Materna 450 is particularly indicated in case of reduced intake of these nutrients with food or increased need, especially during the periconceptional period, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Ingredients
Deodorized and purified fish oil titrated in omega-3 DHA as triglyceride (DHA Plus), fish gelatin capsule; thickener: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids; firming agent: glycerol; emulsifier: sunflower lecithin; colorant: iron oxides and hydroxides; Quatrefolic [(6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid (5MTHF-glucosamine), glucosamine salt].

How to use
1 soft capsule per day, preferably taken before meals.
