Description
Mechanism of action: the device in this FT sprays a jet of hypertonic seawater solution into the nasal cavities. It removes excess mucus and helps rehydrate the mucosa, making breathing easier. Useful in cases of irritation of the nasal passages and swelling of the mucous membranes during cooling phases.
Intended use: the product is a medical device intended for the removal of mucus from the nasal cavities by spraying the anatomical sites with an isotonic seawater solution. It belongs to a family of products called “Sterile and non-sterile seawater solutions for washing the nasal cavity and external ear”.
How to use
Remove the protective cap and apply the dispenser to the canister, gently position the dispenser at the entrance of the nasal cavity and apply a short pressure on the dispenser, then encourage the liquid to come out, repeat the operation for each nostril. Washes can be done from 1 to 4 times a day for a period of 10-15 days. Disassemble the dispenser and rinse it after use. Reassemble the protective cap.
Components
Sea water (Maris Aqua 85%) taken from the gulf of the Cinque Terre (Bergeggi, Liguria) and demineralized water.
The spray contains air as the propellant gas and is free of flavourings and preservatives.
Warnings
Do not use on children under 6 years. Use only by nasal route. Avoid contact with eyes. If irritation occurs, consult a doctor. Pressurized container: may burst if heated. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Keep out of reach of children. Use before the expiry date printed on the aerosol.
Conservation
Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames or other ignition sources. Do not smoke. Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C.
