How to use
Remove the appliance from the packaging; on the bottom of the appliance there are two hooking devices for the accessory compartment to the main body. Operate the hooking devices by pushing them inwards to separate the accessory compartment from the main body of the appliance. Remove the accessories from the compartment.
Introduce the medicine and/or the saline solution into the ampoule tank, following the doses recommended by the doctor and without exceeding the maximum level indicated by the notch on the tank; close the ampoule. Connect the tube to the ampoule.
Connect the ampoule to the accessory with which you want to perform the therapy:
“AIRSOFT MASK” 2 in 1 mask for adults and children, fork, mouthpiece (applied parts).
If in doubt, ask your doctor for advice on which accessory to use. After opening the upper door of the device, connect the tube to the compressed air outlet. Connect the device to the mains. Turn on the device by pressing the on/off button and perform the therapy. During the therapy, you can place the ampoule on the appropriate support. Perform the therapy in a seated and relaxed position.
When the aerosol flow becomes intermittent, interrupt the therapy for a few seconds and allow the drops of suspended medication to settle on the walls of the ampoule. Resume the therapy and end the session when the nebulized medication no longer comes out of the ampoule.
At the end of the treatment, turn off the appliance, unplug the cable from the power outlet, remove the accessory used and clean the appliance and accessories as per the instructions provided. Place the accessories in the dedicated compartment and reattach the latter to the main body of the appliance. To close, place the appliance on the accessory compartment referring to the guides provided and reattach the locking devices.
Cleaning and maintenance
Remove and completely separate all components of the ampoule and immerse them in boiling water for approximately 5 minutes. Do not boil the mask. Rinse the accessories (mask, mouthpiece, fork and tube) under running water. Use the accessory compartment to allow proper drying of the same. Disinfect the parts that come into contact with the patient with cold denatured alcohol. Dry all components and the device thoroughly before storing it.
Never use benzene, thinner or other flammable chemicals for cleaning. For greater hygienic safety, it is recommended not to use the same accessories for more than one patient but to purchase a dedicated kit for each user. It is recommended to clean and check the integrity of the accessories before and after each use and to replace them in case of damage.
Checking and replacing filters
It is recommended to periodically check the condition of the filter. The filter has been inserted to protect the compressor. Correct maintenance of the filter allows you to extend the life of the aerosol. The frequency of filter replacement depends on the environmental conditions in which the device is used. The filter is located on the lower part of the aerosol.
- To replace the filter:
unscrew the filter cover using an accessory; remove the filter to be replaced from its seat; carefully insert the new filter; replace the filter cover cap and screw it back on.
Warnings
Consult the user manual before using the product. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
