Description
Medical device with mechanical action based on sodium alginate, sodium bicarbonate, sodium carbonate, calcium carbonate and sodium hyaluronate, formulated to perform 3 synergistic actions: block acid reflux, reduce heartburn and protect the esophageal mucosa. Zymerex Gastro Activ is indicated for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux to reduce related symptoms, such as heartburn, gastric pyrosis in pregnancy, reflux esophagitis, acid regurgitation, indigestion, nocturnal reflux symptoms, cough, and laryngeal-pharyngeal inflammation.
Directions for use
Adults and children over 12 years: 1 or 2 sachets after main meals and at bedtime.
Shake before use.
Children under 12 years: should only be administered under medical advice.
For instructions on how to take the product, carefully follow the doctor's recommendations.
Components
Purified water, sodium alginate, sodium bicarbonate, sodium carbonate, calcium carbonate, flavor, polyacrylic acid, sodium hyaluronate, sodium methyl-p-hydroxybenzoate, sodium saccharin, ethylparaben.
Warnings
Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package and sachets. Do not use in case of severe renal insufficiency. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the components. In case of adverse reactions, suspend treatment and consult a doctor. The product may interfere with the absorption of oral medicines. Therefore, it is advisable to consult a doctor if oral medicines are taken concurrently; these should in any case be administered at least 2 hours apart.
If no improvement is observed after 7 days of treatment, it is advisable to consult a doctor. The product may cause a feeling of bloating. Adherence to the instructions for use reduces the likelihood of this occurring. This product contains approximately 100 mg (4.4 mmol) of sodium and approximately 36 mg (0.9 mmol) of calcium per sachet (10 ml).
Consult a doctor if you are on a low-salt diet, for example in cases of hypertension, heart, liver and kidney problems, and in cases of hypercalcemia, nephrocalcinosis and recurrent calcium-containing kidney stones.
Storage
Keep out of reach and sight of children. Store at a temperature between 8 °C and 25 °C, away from light and heat sources. Do not refrigerate.
Validity of unopened packaging: 24 months.
